Speaking from Experience//Calendar

For the organisation booklet i needed something to put on the fold out poster. I was original going to do another quote poster, but i couldn't find a quote to tie in with organisation. So i thought of some other things that i could do and finally came up with the idea of an academic year calendar.
I knew that this wouldn't be that big because it was on A3 but it is big enough to see each day and the date of each day. So the idea is that it is a calendar which you use to find out dates etc, not necessarily what you write on. I wanted to include when you would start and finish the year and when the holidays were throughout the year.

The basic structure of the month and how it will look.

Banner above each month to display which month it is.

Finished month view, this has the date in which you would start uni.

Month view which has the holidays on. The line resembles what days are in the holiday.

Heading at the bottom of the calendar as the title. This worked out well because i didn't need july and august because you wouldn't be in uni then, so this left space to put a heading.

The finished calendar. I am happy with the result of this. I didn't know how it would come out because of the format and being quite small for a calendar, but i think it should work fine, it will defiantly be legible enough to see and use. I especially like the heading at the bottom of the page. This is in keeping with the style of the whole pack and makes the calendar look good.
