Speaking from Experience//category illustrations

For each category within the booklets i am going to do a small illustration to relate and visualise each one. This will be consistent across all three booklets. I will also do this for the organisation booklet.

Categories:
Morning - the idea of this is to illustrate getting up on a morning with the alarm clock and then getting ready for college, with the shoer and breakfast icons.

Workload - showing that on your desk you have a big pile of work and lots of work in front of you waiting to be done.

Results page - a simple graph icon to show what results will happen if you are like the characteristics of the designer.
Balancing uni/domestic/social life - icons for each one, together is a small illustrated group.
Walking home from college - high raised buildings that leeds has with a person walking with there bag on.

Planning your day out.

Motivation is key

Adaptability to the course

These are all the illustrations for the 4 booklets, some of them will be used over two categories because they are essentially the same.
I have tried to keep the icons/illustrations simple because they are going to be quite small, but i want them to stand out and recognisable too. Using the blue; cyan as a accent colour, brings them to life a little and makes them stand out more. Also blue is knowing for calming, which is what i want to do for the students. Inform them but calm them down too.
I think these illustrations work well as a set and are all of the same style, so should look good together within the booklets.
