After looking into general publication at first, i wanted to focus on one particular area to delve into deeper and look at further, i chose Editorial design because this is something that i am interested in so it will be helpful to me.
For this research i am going to look at the layout within a publication and the way in which the publication is put together; the final product, binding and any printing processes used on it.
I am going to collate editorial design work that i like and also websites and blogs linked to this area too.

Research into editorial:
I have used various blogs and designers' websites to conduct this research into editorial designs. I have a lot saved myself as i have been collecting these over past months because i have an interest in this area.
As there are so many examples that i have found, i have put them together into a pdf file.
I have found this task very interesting, as researching into this area of graphic design was a good thing for me and something that i have thoroughly enjoyed. From the examples i have found just doing this task, i have so many ideas that i could use within my own work. This does make me excited about producing more editorials and publications, something i can't wait to do over the summer.
